Calling all REAL Southern Gospel Fans! Read about Bro. Les Butler's new book, "Clear & Obvious Assignment"  from the viewpoint of Southern Gospel Hall of Fame Member, Bro. Eddie Crook:

"It has been my pleasure to know Les Butler since 1979. We met at the Chrysler Field House in New Castle, Indiana. He was playing bass for a group who was opening up for the Happy Goodman Family. He also interviewed all of the members of the Happy Goodmans for his radio show.

Fast forward to 1997, when he was with the Solid Gospel Radio Network, our friendship that has gone from acquaintance to a working relationship through his REAL Southern Gospel Radio Network. Early on, I could tell that Les was a visionary and that changes were coming. As one who shares the love of traditional Gospel Music, it is exciting to see the advancements that have been made by Les and his company. His vast experience in the business side of our music, coupled with his God-given musical gifts, allow him to achieve his goals for Gospel Music. This book is filled with interesting stories of hardship, faith, and endurance. Readers can learn about how the writer began his journey in Gospel Music, along with insight about the state of Southern Gospel Music."

As a testimony of Salvation and faith, Christian author Samantha Davis shares her life’s journey—a journey full of abuse, fear, and brokenness that only a relationship with Jesus Christ could restore.

This personal biography features Biblical scripture references intertwined with Davis's original poems and writings. Each chapter lovingly testifies to God's transforming power and goodness for those who put their faith and trust in Him.

Samantha Davis is a former Licensed Massage Therapist and medical assistant at a women’s oncology clinic in the state of Florida. She has always had a natural inclination to help others, with an ability to empathize and anticipate the needs of those in pain and respond with a healing touch. She has written hundreds of poems, some of which have been published in anthologies. She has also received training in substance abuse counseling, and completed her certificate in Sexual Health and Crisis Pregnancy Coaching. She is passionate about mentoring women who are going through emotional trauma and considers this to be her profound spiritual calling.  This calling is due to deeply personal experiences that drew her toward a path of purpose and fulfillment through faith, service, or creativity. Facing several significant losses in her own life, Samantha desires to help others find comfort and strength in words that resonate with their experience with grief and pain. As a mother of two healthy children, she considers them both miracles and gifts, calling motherhood a “true joy and challenge in patience and reward”. It takes strength and bravery to open oneself up to being vulnerable and misunderstood, especially in a world that often values strength and perfection. Samantha believes that vulnerability is about showing up, being seen, and being willing to be your true self, even when it's scary.

Making Music for the Father is the first of a three-session series designed especially for church musicians. Whether you're a young musician just beginning your journey into music ministry, a music director with years of service behind you, or somewhere in between, this study is for you. With questions based on various Scripture readings that are directed toward both praise teams and the individual musician, the layout is conducive for either group or individual study.

The purpose of this study is to testify to the faithfulness of our Heavenly Father as we examine our hearts and place our musical decisions in His hands; to draw us closer to Him and one another as we serve Him through music.
